Renowned Resident Director
- Full-time, on-site director, Aphrodite Vavouyios, is well known and loved in her native Greece. Before joining BCA, she worked for 20 years as a director and professor of Greek language and culture at the American Embassy. She also taught Greek language, culture, and literature at the University of La Verne, Athens, for 15 years. Aphrodite has worked with BCA students for more than 17 years and has supported them in numerous ways including escorting them to many wonderful sites, helping with university relations and even cooking Thanksgiving dinners.
BCA Orientation Course
- Get acquainted with Athens the first three weeks of your stay with a comprehensive orientation program that includes excursions and a course Greek Culture and Contemporary Life (3 credits).

- Attend BCA’s International Student Conference on U.S.-European Relations (spring semester only)
