Trips & Activities
One of the benefits of studying abroad with BCA is the excursions offered to the students throughout the semester. These short trips are included in the program fee and are often the highlight of the study abroad experience for students.
You will soak in the historic importance of Greek culture and learn about this beautiful country.
In Athens, many BCA students have enjoyed trips to the Acropolis, Meteora, Peloponnesus, Delphi, Sparta and Corinth.
Your education continues with special lectures and tours arranged by BCA resident director Aphrodite to embassies, government agencies and more.
Outdoor Activities
A variety of outdoor activities are available across the region, including skiing, rock climbing, hang gliding, and windsurfing. Numerous outdoor clubs serve these sports, including the Athens Chapter of the Sierra Club, which leads more than 4,000 outings annually in the area.
Student Experiences
Knitting Circle

Organization: Knitting Circle
Contact Information: A local yarn shop
Description: I knitted all sorts of things with 8-10 Greek ladies, old and young and practiced my Greek! It’s a great thing to do if you already know the basics of knitting and crochet and it’s on the same street as the school on Saturday morning.
