BCA Ambassadors Program
Each semester, we select students to join our Alumni Ambassadors program who want to share stories and information with other students who are just beginning to think about studying abroad.
If you are interested in becoming a BCA Alumni Ambassador, read the information below and then contact Katie Crowl at kcrowl@BCAabroad.org to continue the process.
How are Alumni Ambassadors chosen?
If you are interested in joining the program, we will contact your resident director for a recommendation.
How long can I be an Ambassador?
For as long as you would like. You can always opt-out of being an Ambassador if you decide you would rather not do it anymore.
What will I do for BCA if I am an Ambassador?
As an BCA Alumni Ambassador, we provide you with a number of opportunities to help spread the word about BCA programs to other students on your campus or other campuses, which might include:
- Helping a BCA rep during a study abroad fair on your campus.
- Manning a table with other students during a study abroad fair if a BCA rep cannot be present.
- E-mailing or speaking to individual students on your campus or from other schools who have indicated to BCA or their study abroad office that they might be interested in studying abroad through BCA.
- Providing pictures and/or quotes and comments about your time abroad for BCA literature and other promotional materials.
- Writing or speaking in more depth about your time abroad. This could be for campus publications and events; BCA publications or events; or international education/study abroad publications and events.
